Meet Ali

About Me

Ali Sarrow is one of those unique individuals who at the age of ten had clarity about what she wanted to do when she grew up! Her love affair with hair has grown even stronger throughout her 15 year career. 

“For me, being a hair stylist has never been about simply doing a haircut or applying a color. It is a way for me to connect with people and make them feel good,” she explains. Ali respects the individual qualities that make up every person, every hairstyle, and every request. She actively listens and is dedicated to crafting luxurious and personal salon experiences as well as long-lasting relationships with her clientele. 

Her mentor, the well-respected industry leader, Tony Altieri, spotted her skill level during her early days in Cosmetology School. He offered her an apprenticeship at the Altieri Brothers Salon in Toluca Lake and that is where her career began. Her training there laid the foundation for her success with precision haircutting, freestyle haircutting, barbering, extensive coloring, and styling. Over the span of her career, her compliance with ongoing certifications has expanded her expertise level to specialty areas such as extensions, smoothing treatments and an array of coloring techniques.

Her success is derived from a combination of  her creativity, professionalism and desire to connect with people beyond their hair. Her deep understanding of all-things-hair and meticulous tidy work ethic simply add to her technical skills. Her philosophy is heartwarming, “I strive to make the world a better place…one strand of hair at a time.”

Currently, Ali offers her expertise in three locations: Burbank, Valencia, and Newport Beach. Each space that she works out of is unique in character and adds to the personal experience that she thrives to create for each individual. She is currently accepting new clients.
